This newsletter is published ahead of Telecom 2006, the leading telecommunication event in Israel, and following the exciting telecom delegation to Thailand and Vietnam. During the past quarter, the Israel Export Institute hosted a number of visits of executives from the telecom industry in Albania, Kazakhstan and Italy - to all we scheduled meetings with Israeli companies relevant to their business and technologies of interest. The past few months have also included the introduction of several Israeli companies to multinational conglomerates such as Deutsche Telekom and Sony.

The Thailand and Vietnam delegation included representatives of 12 Israeli telecom companies who enjoyed fruitful meetings with local telecom personnel. You can read more about the impressions of one of the delegation participants, Mr. Eric Banoun, in our Company of the Month section.

Telecom 2006 will take place in the beginning of November in Tel Aviv.
