Israel's Seambiotic and the China-based Goudian utility company have teamed up for a new, $10 million venture- growing micro algae aimed at creating biodiesel fuel meant to power electrical power stations all over China, Greenprophet.com reported. Israel's Seambiotic develops and produces marine microalgae for the nutraceuticals and biofuel industries.
Seambiotic’s success in utilizing an organic substance found in abundance in the world’s oceans and in fresh water sources, may one day solve much of the world’s energy needs. Goudian is one of China’s largest utility companies, operating more than 100 power stations.
